Sisyphus from Greek mythology is forced by Hades to push a stone up the mountain only to have it fall down each time he gets to the top. In this collage, the stone is the head of the “figure” and it represents the idea that our mind can be a source of torment to us at times. Our thoughts can be our stone that we are trying to push up the mountain to no end.
